Divine Union: Higher Vibrations of Harmony Emerge

PLUTO ENTERS SETS THE STAGE

Pluto is known for its slow motion through the signs. As an outer planet, it takes 248 years to make a full cycle through all the zodiac signs. During this journey it takes residency in one sign for anywhere from 12-30 years( depending on its retrogrades).  Because of its long orbit, it has the effect of creating a punctuation mark of pronounced changes across generations that are sometimes only evident in the reflection.

In astrology, Pluto is the planet of transformation and under its power, alchemy is an essential part of our process. It wants us to embrace our powerful potential, but asks us to integrate disowned or unacknowledged parts of ourselves and our psyches before this reward is given. It operates at a depth that goes way beyond surface-level. It delves into the core of our collective unconsciousness to unearth hidden truths and instigate profound shifts. As we stand on the brink of the next 20 years, with Pluto in the energy of Aquarius, we embark on a gradual yet undeniable transformation. Under the sign of Aquarius, the focus lies on innovation and social change. Aquarius embodies a blend of creativity and scientific curiosity, urging us to explore new territory, through experimentation in personally, interpersonally and interstellar realms. It's within these spheres that we uncover breakthroughs propelling us towards the future in groundbreaking and revolutionary ways that contribute to the narrative of progress and transformation.

The exhaustion with patriarchal systems and the relentless pace of hustle culture is reaching a tipping point for many. There's a palpable yearning to reimagine societal structures that prioritize equity and balance in the fact of disjointed systems whose navigation is confusing and exhausting. Pluto, is the great transformer, who operates by revealing the shadow aspects of our world. In this way, personally and collectively we will be forced to confront uncomfortable truths and acknowledge the darkness that lurks beneath the surface. It is through this process of unveiling and awareness that true change emerges, paving the way for a more compassionate and equitable future for the collective. While the journey ahead may be slow to unfold, the seeds of change have already been sown to guide us towards a future defined by authenticity, resilience, and collective liberation.

MARS AND PLUTO : AGRESSOR OR PROTECTOR

Mars, the archetype of divine masculine energy joins Pluto in Aquarius on February 14th. This ignites a potent blend of passion, intensity and action in the direction of our hearts desires. Although if our actions and intentions are met with resistance, it can trigger reckless action that pushes forward in aggressive or impulsive ways. Mars isn’t one to look for affirmation or approval and in the face of authority or a disapproving other.  It will simply find a way to forge forward, unyielding in the pursuit of its goals.

Its shadow expression seeks to dominate and control in a way that demonstrates strengths while suppressing vulnerability. Its meeting with Pluto provides an opportunity to absolve some of these defense mechanisms, although they may come front and center before they are able to be alchemized. Pluto wants to create deep and long lasting change.

In the energies of Aquarius, together they may want to rebel with or without a cause, although it's considerably more constructive with a defined direction. There will be a potential for power struggles if we feel slighted or in places where we don't see an even playing field. The traits of toxic masculinity may peak as bids for power are made interpersonally and internationally. The reminder to channel these energies towards constructive and meaningful change is key.

In its highest expression these energies can compel us to shift from suppressing vulnerability to courageously expressing it. It supports us in recognizing that true strength lies in openness and the truth at heart. To do this we must transmute self serving and aggressive reactions into heartfelt intentions to provide and protect outside of our own sphere of self. This is the first step as we embark on a path to harmonize the frequencies of our hearts in a much larger journey that calls for us to heal our relationship with each other and the earth. In doing so, we step into a space where we are able to navigate interpersonal dynamics with grace and care, while being mindful of the potential for fight or flight reactions that may get kicked up as we arrange our response patterns to hold more compassion.

Right before Mars and Venus meet up, the North Node and Chiron will have their own meeting together in the sign of Aries.  This is a little foreshadowing of the Solar Eclipse on April 8th, as the archetype of the healer is activated, asking us to tend to our own wounds and embrace our battle scars as a right of passage on our path to authenticity, as we further reclaim that parts of us we disowned and work to embody them as they become our strengths

VENUS AND PLUTO : MANIPULATION OR HONEST EXPRESSION

On February 17th, just three days after Mar’s pass over Pluto, Venus, the divine feminine archetype, converges with Pluto in Aquarius. Venus radiates beauty, grace, diplomacy and helps us to identify the things that we truly appreciate. Pluto calls these things up for review to eliminate outdated or low vibrational expressions so that we can embody the highest vibration.

When the feminine is disempowered, as it has been in the presence of patriarchal power, its natural ability to express free flowing feelings that rise up in the physical body become confined. When restricted or restrained, feminine energy needs a defense, so it dives into the underworld, where it finds manipulation and deceit that pulls on emotional strings as a way of maintaining power and control as a safeguard in the face of vulnerability.

The manifestation of this shows up in issues with self-worth issues or a need for  dependency that makes it difficult to set healthy boundaries. Pluto alongside Venus wants us to cultivate deep intimacy, but first we must start to develop intimacy with ourselves. This alignment challenges us to dig deep, and embrace our self worth through expanding our self-awareness of what it is we need and value. When we develop such clarity we are better positioned to apply discernment in our lives in a way that allows us to implement boundaries that uphold our internal integrity.

When we are able to clearly express our needs, it creates an environment, in which others understand how they can provide for us.  It is through the vulnerability of expressing our needs, and allowing others the space and time to meet them that  creates deeper trust and intimacy in relationships.

Our sense of safety is expanded in the presence of knowing our needs are tended to.  In this space, we can let our guard down in a way that allows us to connect with the wisdom of our emotions and expand our ability for nurturing and compassion outwards towards the collective.

MARS AND VENUS: THE UNION ISOLATION OR INTIMACY
On February 22nd, Mars, the archetype of divine masculine energy, will merge with Venus, the archetype of divine feminine energy.  Every two years (and in Aquarius, every 200!), this energetic portal of unity consciousness opens, through the convergence of Mars and Venus. This year, the energies are amplified in the numerology of 222.

Mars is symbolic of masculine energy, that wants to prove himself as powerful and seeks to pursue the object of his passions. In its highest vibration Mars is a provider and protector that holds space for the vulnerable. Venus, symbolic of feminine energy, needs space to ebb and flow with the emotions of life as they come and go. She is like the eternal spring, which has a reserve of tenderness that provides emotional attunement to those who she gives her heart to.

This convergence creates a harmonious fusion of feminine and masculine energies after their individual initiations with Pluto.  Individually their energies have already begun their own alchemical process and are now prepared to work together initiating a karmic rebalancing that will echo through our interpersonal relationships in deep ways. We are evolving both separately and together. This is about empowerment and embodiment joining together to develop deep and sacred union.

At this time we are encouraged to embrace the transformative power of love with courage and authenticity. The importance of both emotional connection and physical attraction are emphasized. When blended, they have the ability to infuse passion in a way that encourages us to bring our whole selves to the dynamics of partnership, both in our strength and our vulnerabilities to expand intimacy.

Amidst the allure of this union, take caution against impulsive actions and conflicts arising rooted in unchecked emotional triggers. In a low vibrational expression, when compromise cannot be found there is the potential for power plays that produce isolation in our uncompromising stance. Individuals may be quick to anger  when slighted or provoked, or may turn to manipulation as a means to gain power and control when feeling restricted, devalued or dishonored. If a trigger arises for you, take a moment of thoughtful consideration to examine what is beneath the emotion before reacting on impulse.

The unique union of Mars and Venus promotes a healthy expression of love, which, in its highest octave, is the energetic fuel of the universe. In Aquarius we are reminded that love transcends boundaries, resonating with the vibrational essence of all beings.

The question remains, do you need to take control to maintain your position, or can you soften your edges and open the space to let everyone win? The answer lies in your ability to open up to the vulnerability of your heart's desires and take action on their true expression. It is only in finding your true self that you can invite others to meet you there.

A NOTE FOR THE COLLECTIVE SPACE

From a collective perspective, If we are silent, the detached nature of aquarius can wreak havoc in a way where we are unconcerned with the wellbeing of others. As our structures of support crumble, we are crying out for a new way of doing things. Standing in a place where we have seen and experienced too much to silently stand aside any longer. It is as if we are on the sidelines, waiting to be put into play to demonstrate the humanness of our heart and echo out the interconnectedness of our humanity.

If we dismiss the heart of the matter, we fail to find peace and unity in our humanness. Divide and conquer for our own good isn’t going to cut it anymore as we step into a space of strength in numbers and the shared heart space of humanity.

In its highest vibration, this conjunction has the power to propel us towards strategies that prioritize the greater good, challenging outdated systems and societal norms, but opposing bids for power and prestige may take center stage before we can find the higher vibration.

The reminder remains: that this all begins in your heart space. As you heal yourself and expand your ability to open your heart, you open the space for others to do the same.
