"The greatest gift you can give yourself is curiosity about your inner world." - Nicole LaPera
I believe that many mental and emotional challenges arise from disruptions in the nervous system, which can deeply impact our physical and energetic bodies. These systems hold the imprints of our lived experiences and shape how we engage with ourselves and the world. When we experience trauma or profound challenges, the energetic imprints of these events can alter our connection to our authentic self, leaving us feeling disconnected, ungrounded, or out of alignment.
In my practice I take an integrative approach to healing through addressing the mind, body, and spirit, by combining nervous system regulation, somatic techniques, and spiritual insights. We will explore the unfolding of your path with curiosity and compassion to discover patterns that shape your journey and uncover deeper truths. We will work together to embrace the shadows as much as the light, trusting that every step serves to guide us closer to wholeness.
Healing is not about fixing; it is about reconnecting with the inherent wisdom within your body, aligning with your true essence, and reclaiming the power to create your reality.

Somatic Healing
Somatic Therapy is a body-centered approach to healing that strengthens the body-mind connection. By gently guiding you to tune into your body’s sensations, somatic healing facilitates the completion of survival responses, releases stagnant energy, and restores balance in the body. Developing an expanded awareness of your physical body and it’s emotional reality, supports you to be able to embody your inner knowing on a deeper level.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) views the mind as a system of interconnected parts, each with its own voice, feelings, and needs. These parts develop in response to challenging or traumatic experiences and shaping our belief systems and emotional patterns. Through exploring, understanding and nurturing these parts, IFS clears subconscious blocks and fosters inner harmony, allowing you to more fully embrace your authentic energy
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapeutic approach grounded in neuroscience. Using bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, it activates the brain’s natural adaptive processing system. EMDR is a personally empowering approach that reduces the emotional charge of past experiences, clears energetic blockages and creates new pathways in the brain in alignment with your true self.
I specialize in supporting individuals who continue to carry deep wounds from their past. Many of my clients have grown up without proper nurturance and care and from their parents, or had caregivers who struggled with mental health issues or addiction. The result of which, created a lack of safety in early childhood, fears of abandonment, and guilt or shame around their own needs.
These wounds often manifest as not feeling worthy or good enough. They show up as hyper-independence, a constant pressure to perform, people-pleasing tendencies, poor boundaries, and a disconnection from their true sense of self.
Through compassionate exploration, we will uncover unconscious stories and patterns to bring them to the surface. Together, we will untangle the knots created by past traumatic events and rewrite old narratives. Through this process, we will calm and regulate your nervous system, help you develop a deeper connection to your body, and expand your awareness of feelings and emotional needs in the present moment. Ultimately, empowering you to write new narratives rooted in self-awareness, confidence, and alignment with your true self.

No. Physical touch is not required or necessary for the application of somatic therapy or its effectiveness.

I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—it really depends on what each client is interested in and ready for. A certain level of conscious awareness is required, therefore clients will need to develop active presence prior to engaging in EMDR. This way, the experience stays positive and therapeutic. If I ever think EMDR could be helpful, I’ll bring it up and let you decide if it feels like the right fit for you.

I understand that astrology isn’t for everyone, and that’s totally okay! My approach is about meeting you where you are and tailoring our work to your personal journey. Many of my counseling clients don’t include astrology in our sessions, and that’s no problem. If you ever want to explore it down the road, just let me know—I’m happy to follow your lead.

The time clients work with me varies, depending on what they’re looking to get out of therapy. I believe finding the right fit is essential. I see myself as a guide and encourage a collaborative approach, starting with a few sessions to see if it feels like the right fit.
Along the way we can reflect, refocus, and explore our progress to ensure our sessions feel meaningful and supportive for you to co-create a process that honors your unique path.

Labeling and diagnosing are not in alignment with the work that I do. My personal style is more fluid. I do not work with clients for the purpose of assessment to identify a formal diagnosis, although I do work with clients who have various mental health diagnoses and are looking for an alternative to talk therapy.
